Privacy, in plain English.
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it anytime. Here's the detail.
Who we are
This site, haveyouheardai.com, is run by Have You Heard AI, LLC ("we," "us"). Questions about this policy go to haveyouheardai@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups: your email address.
- Call requests (the booking form): your first name, email, and anything you choose to tell us — your mobile number, what's on your "fridge door," whether you'd prefer in-person or Zoom, and good times to talk.
- Emails you send us: whatever you put in them, including event requests.
- Purchases (when our paid guides launch): your name, email and order details. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic site analytics: pages visited, approximate location (city/country), device and browser type, and how you found us. We use this in aggregate to understand what's useful.
We don't knowingly collect sensitive information, and we ask you not to send us passwords, account numbers, or government IDs.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you signed up for.
- To reply to you, schedule calls and sessions, and send your custom plan.
- To send text messages about your booking and follow-up help, only if you opted in.
- To deliver products you buy and handle support.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
Text messages
If you check the box to receive texts, we'll text you about your booking and follow-up help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to book a call. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in with anyone for their marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do that job:
- Website hosting and form handling (Netlify)
- Email and our newsletter platform
- Payment processing and digital delivery (when paid guides launch)
- Scheduling and video calls (for example, Zoom or a calendar tool)
- Website analytics
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to measure traffic. We don't use advertising trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal; because there's no common standard for it, the site doesn't respond to it differently.
How long we keep it
Newsletter emails stay until you unsubscribe. Call requests and client notes are kept as long as we're working together and for a reasonable time after, for records and follow-up. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Email haveyouheardai@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. We'll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's law. We'll honor them — just email us.
Your family's data during sessions
When we help you set up AI tools, everything lives in your own accounts on your own devices. You type your own passwords. We don't keep copies of your calendar, email, documents or chats.
Children
This site and our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep what we collect to a minimum.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll tell newsletter subscribers.
